Sash Windows

Beautiful Timber Sash Windows

New Sash Window Specification

Sash Window Material

Our sash windows are made from top quality materials. We use engineered timber as standard to make our sashes. This contains no knots or splits and resists warping and twisting.

The sashes are manufactured using traditional mortice and tenon joints.

Glazing

The sash windows are fitted with 24mm (Argon filled) double glazed units, these are fitted from the inside with timber beading to give you added security. The units are double sealed and made up using a thermal spacer bar and have a soft coating to reflect heat back into the room.

Sikkens Coating

Our windows are fully finished using Sikkens microporous preservative, primer and topcoats, this provides them with a high performance coating requiring minimal maintenance. Microporous paints greatly reduce environmental impact compared to that of solvent based paints.

Traditional

All of our sash windows are hung in the traditional method using rope, counterbalanced with sash-weights, we do not use the unreliable spiral springs.

Modern

The windows come complete with weather seals making them draught free and more energy efficient.

Security

The sash windows are fitted with a fastener, sash lifts and security bolts available in many finishes.

We have manufactured all types of sash windows for conservation areas and listed buildings.
